Not long ago, we asked gamers if Star Wars: Battlefront was worthy of a sequel, and apparently the overwhelming answer from readers is yes!

This week we look at another Star Wars classic and ask the same question: Is Star Wars: Republic Commando (SWRC) worthy of a sequel?

After five seasons and many fan demands Star Wars: The Clone Wars finally featured the famed clones of Republic Commando…well, one of them any way. The clone in question is Gregor. With his trademark yellow helmet etched with the number of droids ...

The horror of a twice yearly upgrade

In March 2012, I bought myself a 3rdGeneration iPad. It was one of my life achievements, I can assure you. And of course, I was, and still am, very happy with my purchase (my bank account thinks otherwise). But there’s a dark side: I have something of a problem when it comes to tech – I start to get jittery when whatever version of whatever tablet/phone/console/toaster/magnetic toupee I have is about to be updated. Call it a psychological weakness or insatiable lust, ...

I like my WiiU. I like playing games on it, exploring MiiVerse, and looking at other users’ hideous Mii creations at the Plaza. I like how the GamePad feels in my hands and I like the fact that I can switch the TV on and off with it. So, I like my WiiU. But I don’t love it. Not yet, anyway.

One of the main reasons I don’t love my WiiU is that Nintendo is giving me very little excuse to actually use it - in the 3 months since its release, there have been precisely 0 new eShop releases. Aside from a few titles such as Chasing Aurora,

A few weeks ago, CEO of Just Add Water Ltd (developers of the recent Stranger's Wrath HD upgrade and upcoming title Abe: New 'n' Tasty) Stewart Gilray was kind enough to answer a few questions about their work with the Oddworld series and where the games could potentially be headed next. Also giving some insight was Oddworld Inhabitants founder and creator of Abe, Lorne Lanning.

The questions cover how the two companies began to get involved, as well as some details on the ports, Oddworld Inhabitants history, and a tiny glimpse ...

Over the next few weeks LAG will be taking a look at one of the most well-loved franchises in gaming (and its creator), the Oddworld series. We will be reviewing all the past Oddworld games, some of the HD remakes that Just Add Water handled, and taking a look back at the journey Abe and co. have taken since Oddworld Inhabitants was founded almost 20 years ago. Stay tuned as more Odd-themed content is uploaded over the coming weeks! ...

Aside from video games, Star Wars and Marvel Comics, history is one of my great passions, namely antiquity and military topics, but I can go for just about anything from ancient to modern. While a lot of people have dreadful memories of history class, and might confess an utter dislike for any era that isn’t contemporary, they’ve more than likely been exposed to history quite frequently without even being aware of it. Oddly enough some video games (which generally some might consider mindless distractions with inflated budgets, mind-blowing ...

I was lucky enough to pick up a fairly cheap Wii U over the weekend, and while I was waiting for New Super Mario Bros U to arrive in the post I decided to download a demo I'd had my eye on ever since it was announced: Rayman Legends. Its predecessor, Rayman Origins, was one of my favourite games of 2011 and completely took me by surprise after the series had been quiet for so long. The Ubisoft Montpellier-developed title ticked all the boxes; the mix of beautiful hand drawn environments and characters, fantastic platforming, brilliant original ...
